SEAPLANE TRANSFER
Trans Maldivian Airways “TMA” provides seaplane transfers to/from the TMA Terminal at the Velana International Airport “VIA” to connect with the arrival/departure of international flights. The seaplane transfer time from the TMA Terminal to The Standard is about 35 minutes, sometimes more when there are other resort stops along the way.

Upon arrival, after clearing Maldives immigration, customs and baggage collection, you will exit into the Arrivals Hall and greeted by our representative who will assist with the check-in at the TMA counter for your seaplane to The Standard, Maldives. Seaplane departures are usually within one hour after all guests clear immigration and customs. In rare instances, such as flight delays, long lines at immigration/baggage claim or bad weather, then the wait may be longer.

Guests arriving on an international flight which cannot connect to the last seaplane of the day to The Standard may choose to overnight in a nearby Male’ hotel or opt for the late night domestic transfer option.

The allowance for checked-in luggage is 20 kilos and hand carry is 5 kilos per person; above which there is an excess charge of US$5.00 per kilo. In extraordinary circumstances, luggage may be transported by a later flight due to weight restrictions (policies & procedures as per TMA regulations).

In rare instances, due to circumstances beyond the control of TMA and/or The Standard, such as unfavorable weather conditions, the seaplane may depart earlier/later than scheduled to/from The Standard, in which case, TMA nor The Standard assume liability for any related expenses of the guests.

TMA VIP LOUNGE (Seaplane Transfers Only)

The TMA VIP Lounge is also available for guests. Access to the lounge costs $35 per person, where you will be welcomed with a refreshing face towel, complimentary bottled waters, soft drinks, tea or coffee, light snacks and Free WiFi while you relax in air conditioned comfort until your flight departs. Located on the ground floor, TMA Terminal B. Access to the lounge requires advance noticed for booking.

DOMESTIC TRANSFER

FlyMe and Manta Air provides domestic transfers to/from the Domestic Terminal at the Velana International Airport “VIA” to connect with the arrival/departure of international flights. Domestic transfers include a 30minutes flight from Velana International Airport to Dharavandhoo Airport and a 25minutes speedboat ride from Dharavandhoo to our resort. Keep in mind that there may be a wait if flights happen to be delayed for various unforeseen events.

Upon arrival, after clearing Maldives immigration, customs formalities and baggage collection, you will exit the customs area into the Arrivals Hall and greeted by our representative who will assist with the check-in at the Domestic Terminal for your transfer to The Standard, Maldives.

In rare instances, due to circumstances beyond the control of FlyMe, Manta Air and/or The Standard, such as unfavorable weather conditions, the flight may depart earlier/later than scheduled to/from The Standard, in which case, FlyMe, Manta Air nor The Standard assume liability for any related expenses of the guests.
